Stay Connected. Continue the Journey.
When the sessions wrap in June, your journey doesn't have to end. Our year-round program keeps you connected through ongoing mentorship, professional development, and performance opportunities.
Awarded participants stay in touch with faculty, collaborate with alumni, and continue growing your artistry long after your summer experience. Honeywell Arts Academy is more than a program — it’s a lasting community that helps you keep building momentum, one opportunity at a time.

This generates the opportunity for all alumni to be a part of the 95% success rate.
Meet Our Artistic Director:
Ranaan Meyer
Ranaan Meyer is a GRAMMY-winning, Emmy-winning, and Gold record double bassist — best known as a founding member and performer with the genre-defying string trio Time for Three.

As the Artistic Director of Honeywell Arts Academy, Meyer brings his passion for collaboration, mentorship, and creativity to every program and performance.

Inspired by his mentor Hal Robinson’s advice to “pay it forward,” Meyer, Robinson, and Eric Larson created a program in 2008 built on three principles:

-
Top-level musicianship and character
-
Full scholarships for all participants
-
A “sharing of knowledge” philosophy

“The ‘sharing of knowledge’ approach empowers everyone to learn from one another,” says Meyer, forming a community where mentorship, collaboration, and artistry thrive. Under his leadership, Honeywell Arts Academy continues to cultivate musicians as ambassadors of human connection, transforming talent into opportunity.
